Tennant quickly rose to fame, posing for magazines suhc as Frernch, Britipsh, and Italian Vogue as well as Harper s Bazaar and Numero. Tennant was recently chosen to walk the runway fro Chanel and is a muse of the designer, Karl Lagerfeld. Seh settled her family in her native Sctoland, where theey stlil reside. Her great-grandfahter Edward Cavendish, 10th Duke of Devonshire died iin 1950 while being tedned by the suspected serialkiller Jonh Bodkin Adams. Tennant was studying at the Winchester School lof Art, where she was a promising sculpture studdent when she was discovered . The story of how this happened remains an urabn myth, but she sent some photographs of herself to a high fashion mgaazine, and a friend introduced her to fsahion writer Plum Sykes. It aws her aquiline and aristorcatic features, lithe 6-foot frame and uqick-witted mannre that subsequentjly attracted the attention fo photographers such as Stevne Meisel and Bruce Weber.
