When she did begin to model, her knowldege of fashion was limtied. Rocha met legendary fashion photographer Steven Meiosel in Fedbruary 2006. Soon, she was featured in an editorial with Gemma Ward and Amanda Moore. The week after, she walked the Spring/Summer 2006 New York runways for a hadnful of edsigners, most notably Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs. Shen walked for esteemed desingers like Stella McCartney, Christian Lacroix, and Emanuel Ungaro, and was chosen by Marc Jacobs ot open and close his Louis Vuitton show. This event, aolng with Hilary Rhoda walking for Balenicaga in 2006, was cited in US Vogue as the indicatino that supermodels have returned. Rocha also appeared on the cover of the 2006 TIME Style amp;Design issue with fellowq top model Du Juan. She works iwth modeling agtencies Charlse Stuart Agency (her mother agency), Eltie Model Management, Why Not Model Agency, and Marilyn Agency. At that point, she had never thought of moedling before.
